The Bambi Awards 2007
The Bambi is an annual television and media prize awarded by the German media company Hubert Burda Media. It was created in 1948 and the first recipient was Marika Rökk- an Egyptian-born singer, dancer and actress of Hungarian descent.
This year the Bambi Award 2007 gathered lots of talents to receive their awards. The 59th Bambi media awards ceremony took place in the western German town of Duesseldorf November 29, 2007.
German actors Benjamin Stadler, Denise Marko and Katharina Wackernag won the award. Other stars nominee at the show was german actress Maria Furthwengler, Italian actress Sophia Loren, U.S. actor Tom Cruise and British fashion designer Christopher Bailey.
Hollywood star Tom Cruise has pursued brave projects that otherwise would not have been made, including his newest film, "Valkyrie," which details the failed Operation Valkyrie plot to kill Adolf Hitler. His beautiful wife Katie Holmes was at the ceremony to encourage her husband.
