Supermodel Naomi Campbell quits Premier Models
Naomi Campbell has walked out of the agency that made her famous. The model, 36, has signed for US giants IMG after quitting Premier Models. She abandoned Premier, which has stood by Naomi despite her temper and drug demons. It seems Premier Models aren’t too happy about losing the model that they supported throughout her illustrious and eventful career.
"We're gobsmacked. Premier has helped Naomi find fame and fortune and now she walks out on us?” an insider at Premier was quoted by the Sun, as saying. "We supported her one thousand per cent over her recent troubles," he added.
Another source close to the model added that Naomi made the move because “IMG has a bigger worldwide appeal” but it might be that she’s just planning to move her whole life stateside now she’s got a new boyfriend over there. According to the New York Daily News, Naomi is very happily dating Hustle & Flow star Terrence Howard and are planning to “come out” as a couple this weekend.
