Sienna Miller to play Robin Hood role
Actress Sienna Miller has confirmed she will play the role of Maid Marian in a film remake of Robin Hood, according to BBC News.
The 26-year-old will star alongside Russell Crowe, who is expected to play the Sheriff of Nottingham. Oscar-winning writer Brian Helgeland and director Sir Ridley Scott have also signed up for the project.
"It's happening. I just found out. It's the most exciting news in the world,"Miller said.
The movie is a twist on the classic story, with the Sheriff of Nottingham cast as a sympathetic figure up against a not-so-heroic Robin Hood.
