Salma Hayek has daughter
Oscar-nominated actress Salma Hayek, who lives in Los Angeles, has given birth to her first child, a daughter.
Hayek and her fiance, Francois-Henri Pinault, have named the baby Valentina Paloma Pinault, E!Online reported.
Cari Rossi, a spokeswoman for Hayek, said the actress and her daughter are both doing well.
Hayek and Pinault, a French businessman, have not announced a wedding date. They announced their engagement and Hayek’s pregnancy in March.
Pinault has two children.
In addition to acting, Hayek has become involved in the business side of the movies and television. She is the executive producer of the TV series “Ugly Betty.”
Hayek was nominated for an Oscar for her starring role in “Frida” in 2002, a project on which she also served as a producer. // Copyright 2007 by United Press International
