Royal Mail braced for Harry Potter rush
Royal Mail chiefs began plotting how to get hundreds of thousands of mail-order copies of the much-anticipated final Harry Potter book to avid fans when the book is published, as ITV reports.
There is no publication date yet for “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows” but the postal service said now is the time to start arrangements for massive demand set to be ordered on the internet.
"Now that Christmas is out of the way we will be talking to online retailers to get an understanding of the potential volumes of books being ordered", said a Royal Mail spokesman.
Fans predict that the book is set to be published in the summer, but author JK Rowling revealed that she is still working on scenes for the last part of the schoolboy wizard's adventures.
The movie of the fifth book, “Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix”, is due to hit cinemas on July 13.
