Penguins knock Casino Royale at UK box office
“Happy Feet” knocked “Casino Royale” off the top of the UK and Ireland box office chart.
The penguin-themed children's cartoon entered at the top with £2.77 million taken, knocking the James Bond film, with £2.74 million, into second place.
Kate Winslet romantic comedy “The Holiday” took third, while “The Covenant” was just on ninth position.
The new Bollywood hit “Baabul” took the eighth position and gathered £290,000 despite opening on only 45 screens nationally 90 per cent less than “Happy Feet”.
