Penelope Cruz joins 'Pirates of the Caribbean'
Penelope Cruz is close to signing onto Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, out May 20, 2011.
The 35-year-old actress would star opposite Johnny Depp and be directed by Rob Marshall (Chicago, Memoirs of a Geisha, Nine).
Variety reports the fourth Pirates will start shooting in Hawaii this summer with Jerry Bruckheimer producing.
