Orlando Bloom’s environmentally-friendly home
Orlando Bloom is building an environmentally-friendly house in London.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star revealed his plans at a pre-Oscar party in aid of the environmental organization Global Green USA, as Monsters and critics reports.
"It's as green as I can make it. It's got solar panels on the roof, energy efficient light bulbs - newer technology basically that is environmentally friendly. It might not be possible for everyone to live a completely green lifestyle, but we can do little things to help slow global warming”, said the eco-conscious Orlando.
"People could just help by unplugging their phone chargers and turning off the TV when they're not watching it. It doesn't have to be overwhelming, there are simple things we can do", added the sexy actor.
The 30-year-old Bloom arrived at the party in a plug-in hybrid car, which is powered by a combination of electricity and petrol.
Other guests at the party were: Chevy Chase, James Blunt and Penelope Cruz.
