Murphy learning to dance right in “Dreamgirls”
Moldova.ORG -- Eddie Murphy insists the most difficult part about playing fictional soul legend James “Thunder” Early in “Dreamgirls” was learning how to dance right.
The “Daddy Day Care” star won a best supporting actor Golden Globe Award and said he watched old James Brown videos to learn some moves, as FemaleFirst reports.
The star often used to parody Brown when he was a cast member on sketch show Saturday Night Live, but insists the movie role was much more hard.
It's easy for Murphy to dance when he's not taking it seriously saying.
"Oh, I can (dance) if I'm trying to be funny. But it's different being serious. If it's supposed to be a joke, and I'm wearing an inch of makeup, I can do anything!", explained Murphy.
