Lohan gets Marilyn Monroe house
Moldova.ORG -- Lindsay Lohan acquired the Los Angeles apartment that film legend Marilyn Monroe once called home.
The troubled actress, who is presently in rehab at the Wonderland Center in the Hollywood Hills, is expected to move into Monroe's previous two-bedroom apartment after her cure is finished.
"We were all amazed to see Lindsay moving in", said a neighbor at the El Palacio building, where the apartment is situated.
Lohan was a longtime Monroe fan, admitting in one recent interview she tries to imitate Marilyn whenever she can - even when it came to entertaining the troops.
"I wanted to do what Marilyn Monroe did (during the Korean War), when she went and just set up a stage and did a concert for the troops all by herself. It's so amazing seeing that one woman just going somewhere, this beautiful sex kitten, who's basically a pinup, which is what I've always aspired to be", the 20-year-old Hollywood actress said.
