the star does not want to go to jail, that's a fact.

On Friday, a $50,000 arrest warrant was issued but was rescinded yesterday, after Lohan’s lawyer showed that she did not break the rules of her rehabilitation program. The original warrant was issued over claims she violated the terms of her parole for drink driving and drug offenses in 2007.

Lohan was said to have missed three days of class in 21 days, but evidence presented by Lohan’s attorney showed she was there and was ordered to return to court on April 3.

A police statement reads, “In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner.”

Later, Lindsay’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, released the following statement: “Since her case was resolved, Ms. Lohan has been in compliance with all the terms and conditions of her probation and all orders of the Court. The warrant issued on Friday was, in our view, born out of a misunderstanding which I am confident I can clear up next week.”
