Kate Winslet's BAFTA delay because of disabled fan talk

Moldova.ORG --Kate Winslet held up the BAFTA awards while she spoke to a young disabled fan.

The “Little Children” star was listed to present the first award of the evening, but after recognizing a young boy in a wheelchair she stopped to talk to him, as FemaleFirst notes.

"Hello, I remember you. How are you? Do you remember me? That's amazing that you remember me. It's lovely to see you again", said smiling Kate.

"Kate spent ages on the red carpet signing autographs. It was so cold and she was wearing a strapless dress. She must have been freezing but she looked lovely and smiled at everyone and took as much time as she could”, a witness said.

"Just as she was about to go in through the doors she caught sight of the young boy and said, 'I've got time for one more'. It was very sweet", added the same source.
