Helen Mirren - the most Oscar favorite ever

Moldova.ORG -- Helen Mirren's interpretation of “The Queen” turned the British actress into the most Oscar favorite ever.

"Mirren is the hottest favorite at odds of 12-1 on. That is the shortest price we have ever had for the nominations", says a spokesman for British bookmakers William Hill.

The actress has already won a string of accolades and prizes for her starring role in “The Queen”.

She lately claimed the Golden Globes Best Actress award for the portrayal.

Helen Mirren will battle for an Oscar with fellow  Judi Dench and Kate Winslet,  Penelope Cruz and Meryl Streep at the Academy Awards next month.
