Heath Ledger drug tape is an absence of respect
It’s been a week since the Australian actor Heath Ledger passed away and the cause of his death is not known yet. The autopsy that was made needs more time for a final verdict, but the media is already saying that the cause of the death may be drugs. The family said over again that Heath did not died because of the drugs.
But, we must remember that Heath was a simple human being that had vices and weakness. There are rumors that claim Heath was everything from a drug addict to a hopelessly depressed, pill-popping drunk who refused to commit himself to rehab and was doing drugs behind his girlfriend's back.
Maybe it’s not so horrible as it is described here, that he was addicted, but time to time he used those drugs.
The really heartbreaking fact is that some of these speculations are unfortunately true and, in a truly disgusting move, two media outlets, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, are said to have acquired a video of Heath doing drugs at a party that took place at the Chateau Marmont shortly before his death and are planning to broadcasting the video on one of their shows.
It’s terrible how people are being mean by show casting the video, because that will bring no light in his death. By the way, the video was allegedly made two years ago at the Chateau Marmont hotel on Hollywood's Sunset Boulevard, and it means nothing.

The latest news indicated that both Entertainment Tonight and The Insider have apparently realized that broadcasting the video would not have been such a good idea, and have issued a statement, saying that "out of respect for Heath Ledger's family, "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider" have decided not to run the Heath Ledger video which has been circulating in the world media".
Meanwhile, Heath Ledger's publicist Mara Buxbaum insists the Brokeback Mountain actor was never addicted to hard drugs and is outraged over the media speculation surrounding the 28-year-old's tragic passing.
