Last week was Tarantino’s birthday. He celebrated 45 and his party was for one more celebrated star of the day: Fergie.

Fergie, along with fellow birthday boy Quentin Tarantino, threw a blowout at the Mirage with 100 of their BFFs, including Diablo Cody, Nelly and Kid Rock.

Fergie met Tarantino while she was filming the Planet Terror segment for Grindhouse and expects a "lively crowd" at their bash today.

"When we found out we had the same birthday, we decided we were going to have a duel party and we're actually doing it, we're actually following through," Fergie told. "We should have an interesting, fun and lively crowd and we should have a good birthday."

As a great present for his movie success, Tarantino got an award from the Provincetown International Film Festival that announced on Monday that this year’s Filmmaker on the Edge award will go to Quentin Tarantino.

Writer/director Tarantino created “Reservoir Dogs,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Kill Bill” and “Death Proof”. The prestigious film festival’s 10th Anniversary celebration will take place in Provincetown, Massachusetts from June 18-22.
