Halle Berry welcomes a baby girl
The beautiful actress Halle Berry, aged 41, gave birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday morning at the Cedars Sinai medical Center, following a series of false alarms and a health scare earlier in the day. The actress's representatives confirm the news already, and a source has exclusively revealed to a magazine some details about the circumstances in which Halle's baby girl was born.
Apparently, the Oscar-winning actress hasn't decided on a name yet – but we're standing by for any official announcements and will bring you the news as soon as it's out.
"Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because the felt like she was going into labor", the source told. "It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She's a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle's blood pressure came down. She wasn't dilating anymore so at around 2:45pm they let her go home. Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00pm Saturday night", the source also revealed. Despite the initial scare, there were reportedly no further problems and the baby was delivered at 10:17am on Sunday morning, weighing 7lb 4 oz.
