Gere to star in ads for Swedish clothes
Hollywood actor Richard Gere has signed on to star in an advertising campaign for the Swedish budget clothing chain Kapp-Ahl.
Gere will appear in the ads alongside fellow U.S. star Kathleen McNenny, an actress with Swedish roots, The Local reported.
Gere, following in the footsteps of Goldie Hawn and Dustin Hoffman, will be the third major U.S. celebrity featured in Kapp-Ahl ads.
Gere said he will donate part of his earnings from the modeling stint to a healthcare project in the developing world. // Copyright 2007 by United Press International
