Gerard Butler surprised he wasn't Oscar nominated
Gerard Butler is a little dissapointed that he wasn't nominated for for an Academy Award this year.
“To be honest, I’m surprised I wasn’t nominated for an Oscar this year,” he told NYMag at the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Male Awards on Monday. “I mean, did they see Ugly Truth? Did they see Gamer? But I have the honor of presenting at the Oscars, and I had this genius idea that I was going to record it on my DVR, and then just watch it backwards, and then I’m going to feel like I won. Who’s going to know the difference?”
It was announced that Gerald, Bradley Cooper, Tom Ford, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Pine, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Reynolds and Sam Worthington will present the winner on the Oscar night.
The 2010 Academy Awards will air Sunday (March 7) at 8/7c on ABC. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will serve as co-hosts of the event.
