Elijah Wood to join 'Wilfred' on FX
Elijah Wood, best known for his role in The Lord of The Rings series, is set to hit the small screen in a remake of the Australian sitcom Wilfred.
The 29-year-old actor will star in the FX show opposite a female character and a mixed-breed dog named Wilfred.
Family Guy alum David Zuckerman, who’s adapting the show for American audiences, told EW that Wilfred is “part Labrador retriever and part Russell Crowe on a bender.”
Elijah will also hit the big screen this fall in The Romantics opposite Katie Holmes and Josh Duhamel.
