Drew Barrymore: GLAAD Awards gorgeous
Drew Barrymore sparkles while cuddling up to boyfriend Justin Long at the 2010 GLAAD Media Awards held at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel on Saturday (April 17) in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old accepted the 2010 Vanguard Award for increasing visibility and understanding of the gay community. During her acceptance speech, Drew listed several of her inspirational gay friends including her agent, lawyer, doctor, stylists and one of her dogs.
“The thing that means the most to me about an evening like this or why I want to fight and be outspoken about (gay rights) is there are so many people who are in desperate need of families,” Drew said. “That is the most important thing in the world: that we take care of each other because this is a family.”
