Clooney to star in De Niro in French film remake
Moldova.ORG -- Robert De Niro told MTV that George Clooney is set to star opposite him in “36”, a remake of the French police thriller “36 Quai des Orfèvres”.
The original French movie starred Gerard Depardieu and Daniel Auteuil as rival detectives who are trying to resolve a series of resistant car robberies in Paris and who bend the rules to suit themselves.
The US version is to be directed by Marc Forster, whose credits include “Finding Neverland” and “Monster's Ball”. 
Shooting is due to start in New York later this year, while De Niro is to produce the movie through his company, Tribeca Productions.
