Casino Royale winner abroad
“Casino Royale” was the clear winner in 27 countries as it took in $42.2 million, $25.6 million in the U.K. alone.
As Contactmusic notes, the James Bond picture also earned $3.8 million in 633 Russian venues, the second-largest abroad take.
“Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan”, which had won the overseas box office during the earlier two weekends, fell to second place with $13.9 million in 25 countries, bringing its abroad total to $63.6 million.

Combined with its $90.5million total in North America, the movie now boasts a worldwide gross of $154.1 million.
The film supposedly cost $15 million to produce.
