Bond star Craig marries Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz

The couple plays husband and wife in the upcoming thriller "Dream House." Supposedly their relations have begun during shooting this movie. The British celebrities have reportedly been dating since December.

Oscar-winning actress Weisz's publicist confirmed the wedding Sunday, but offered no other details other than to say it took place "recently." Craig’s publicist Robin Baun did the same thing.

Weisz, 41, announced her split from partner of nine years Darren Aronofsky, “Black Swan” director, in November. The actress is best known for her roles in "The Mummy" movies, “The Lovely Bones” and she won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her performance in "The Constant Gardener."

“Bond” star came to public attention with roles in “Layer Cake”, “The Mother” and “Enduring Love”.

Daniel Craig, 43, whose revamped portrayal of James Bond in 2006's Casino Royale, was critically acclaimed, will to make his third outing as 007 in October 2012. He is also due to star in the Hollywood remake of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, which will be released later this year.

Craig has one daughter, Ella, 17, from his previous marriage to Fiona Loudon, which ended in 1994.

Weisz has a five-year-old son Henry.

The wedding ceremony was very private and took place in New York. It was reported that there were only bride, groom, their children and a couple of the closest friends.
