Marty

A rather obese and lonely Bronx butcher lives with his mother, and his simple-minded shyness and low self-esteem keep him dreaming of the day he could ever find a girl to love him.
Finally, he finds it in the arms of a shy, homely schoolteacher. But, then his overprotective mother steps in to try and break it up, which then becomes a test of his own will for independence.
