Christian Clemenson was born on November 11, 1959 in Humboldt, Iowa, USA. He is an Emmy Award-winning American film and television actor.

He attended and graduated from Phillips Academy (1976) Harvard College (1980) and the Yale School of Drama (1984).

He was a law student in the television version of "The Paper Chase," Alex Keaton's english teacher in the television show "Family Ties," the bailiff in the Ivan Reitman movie "Legal Eagles," and the flight surgeon in the movie "Apollo 13"and Dr. Dale Lawrence in the movie "And The Band Played On."

In film, he starred in United 93. On television, he was a regular on The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. and has had recurring roles on Veronica Mars and Boston Legal, as Jerry 'Hands' Espenson.
