Peter DeLuise was born on November 6, 1966 in New York, USA. He is an American actor and director.

Peter DeLuise first starred in the 1979 film Hot Stuff, but it was not until 1987 he became well known as Officer Doug Penhall in the Fox hit series 21 Jump Street from 1987 to 1990.

Peter is also well known for his role as Dagwood on the NBC science fiction television series SeaQuest DSV from 1994 to 1996.

DeLuise has made guest appearances on television shows ranging from The Facts of Life, 21 Jump Street spin-off Booker, Highlander: The Series, Friends, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda and Stargate SG-1.

Peter was married to actress Gina Nemo from 1988 to 1992. He is now married to Canadian actress Anne Marie Loder.
