William Petersen

William Louis Petersen was born on February 21, 1953 in Evanston, Illinois. He is an American actor.
He played tense, obsessive lawmen in the films To Live And Die In L.A. (1985) and Manhunter (1986). He also appeared in The Beast (1997) and The Skulls (2000) and 12 Angry Men (1997).
In 2000 Peterson began starring as forensic scientist Gil Grissom in the TV series C.S.I. Petersen married longtime girlfriend Gina Cirone in June 2003.
