Sandra Oh was born on July 20, 1971 in Nepean, Ontario, Canada. She is a Golden Globe Award-winning and a two-time Emmy Award-nominated Canadian actress.
Sandra's interests extend well beyond the stage. She was an Honour Roll student and was consistently involved with the Students' Council. She was also a member of the volleyball and cross-country skiing teams. Sandra was voted "Head Girl" of Sir Robert Borden H.S. in her senior year. That was also the year she started B.A.S.E..
She moved to Los Angeles in 1996 to begin the first of seven seasons as Rita Wu, the smart and sassy assistant on the HBO comedy series Arli$$, for which she won the final Cable Ace award for Best Actress in a Comedy.
He starred in The Princess Diaries (2001), Sideways (2004) and Hard Candy (2005).
In television Sandra now appears on "Grey's Anatomy" and "American Dragon: Jake Long".
Oh and filmmaker Alexander Payne, were in a relationship for five years, including two years of marriage; they married on January 1, 2003. Payne and Oh separated in early 2005 and divorced in late 2006. She is currently dating musician Andrew Featherston.
