Rainn Dietrich Wilson was born on January 20, 1966 in Seattle, Washington, USA. He is an Emmy-nominated and two-time Screen Actors Guild Award winning American actor.
Along with his role on The Office, Wilson has appeared as the eccentric Arthur Martin, the androgynous intern at Fisher & Diaz Funeral Home on HBO's Six Feet Under. He also starred in the hit shows NUMB3RS and Entourage in 2005.
During that time, he also made guest appearances on TV series such as Charmed, Dark Angel, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law&Order: SVU and Monk.
His film roles include Galaxy Quest (1999), Almost Famous (2000), America's Sweethearts (2001), House of 1000 Corpses (2003), and Sahara (2005). He also appeared alongside Luke Wilson and Uma Thurman in the film My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2005) and in The Last Mimzy (2007).
Wilson is married to author Holiday Reinhorn.
