Lee Majors was born on April 23, 1939 in Wyandotte, Michigan, USA. He is an American actor.
Majors worked as a park recreation director for the City of Los Angeles before entering show business in 1963.
He also appeared in a variety of popular television series, including The Big Valley (1965-69) and The Fall Guy (1981-86).
But it was Majors’ stint as bionic Steve Austin in the ABC series The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-78) that catapulted the handsome actor into cult status. Majors starred in 1992’s short-lived television series Raven.
Other his credits include The Norseman (1978), Steel (1979), Killer Fish (1979), Agency (1980) and The Last Chase (1981). Recent films have included Out Cold (2001), Big Fat Liar (2002) and Lightspeed (2006).
Majors was married to actress Farrah Fawcett from 1973 until 1981. He also was married former Playboy model Karen Velez.
