Joshua Carter Jackson was born on June 11, 1978 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is a Canadian–American actor.
Jackson landed the role of Charlie in the The Mighty Ducks (1992), D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994) and D3: The Mighty Ducks (1996). He appeared in several movies including Cruel Intentions, The Skulls, The Safety of Objects and The Laramie Project.
In 2005, Jackson moved to the UK and made his stage debut on the London West End with Patrick Stewart in David Mamet's two-man play, A Life in the Theatre.
In 2006 he appeared in drama Bobby, directed by Emilio Estevez. His latest credits include Battle in Seattle (2007) and 2008’s horror movie Shutter.
He has dated Katie Holmes, Brittany Daniel, Julia Stiles, Rosario Dawson and is dating Diane Kruger.
