John Stephen Goodman was born on June 20, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri. He is an American Golden Globe and Emmy-winning actor.
Goodman is famous for his role as Dan Conner on the American sitcom, Roseanne, which aired on ABC from 1988 to 1997. He also has appeared in films, including Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, The Big Lebowski, and in the political drama The West Wing.
He also has voiced in some movies including Bee Movie (2007), The Emperor's New Groove 2: Kronk's New Groove (2005), Cars (2006) and The Jungle Book 2 (2003). His last credits include Death Sentence (2007), Evan Almighty (2007) and Speed Racer (2008).
John married Anna Elizabeth Hartzog in 1993.
