Joel Edgerton was born on June 23, 1974 in Sydney, New South Wales. He is an Australian film and television actor.
He has appeared in such films as Erskineville Kings, King Arthur, Ned Kelly, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
In 2005, he lent his voice to the title character of The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello.
Edgerton appeared in the British comedy Kinky Boots and in the 2006 American film Smokin' Aces. Other his credits include The Hard Word (2002), Father (2008), The Square (2008) and Acolytes (2009).
