Jaime King was born on April 23, 1979 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. She is an American film actress and model.
King had a successful early career as a fashion model, and by age fifteen she had been featured in the fasion magazines Vogue, Mademoiselle, Allure, and Seventeen.
In 1999, King began her acting career and made her debut in the Daniel Waters' comedy Happy Campers. King made her first appearance in a large Hollywood production with her role as the seventeen year old nurse, Betty, in the World War II epic romance Pearl Harbor (2001).
In 2002, she appeared in teen comedy Slackers, Four Faces of God, and crime comedy Lone Star State of Mind.
In 2005 she appeared in a variety of film and television roles. She first appeared in the independent black comedy and satire Pretty Persuasion. She also appeared in Sin City (2005) and Two for the Money (2005).
Her next credits include Fanboys (2008), The Spirit (2009) and Sin City 2 (2009).
In January 2005, while working on the set of Fanboys, she met fiancé Kyle Newman, the film's director. The two plan to get married.
