Gil Bellows was born on June 28, 1967 in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Canadian film and television actor.
He is known for his first motion picture role as "Tommy" in the 1994 film The Shawshank Redemption.
He also has appeared in the television series The Agency and Ally McBeal. His last credits include The Weather Man (2005), The Promotion (2008) and TV series "Terminal City" (2005).
