Daniel W. Strong was born on June 6, 1974 in Manhattan Beach, California. He is an American actor in film and television.
He started performing in school plays as a freshman and was instantly smitten with the theatre. By the time he graduated, he had won the majority of high school drama festivals and received numerous scholarships to attend the University of Southern California (USC) as a theatre major.
During his 4 years at USC, he performed in numerous productions. In his sophomore year, he performed with the USC Rep. Company at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he starred in the world premiere of Ray Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. In his junior year, he was nominated for the prestigious Irene Ryan/Kennedy Center Award, and USC awarded him the James Pendleton Award for Acting.
Upon graduation, he slowly started to get small parts on television shows. His early roles were on Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell - The New Class and the unaired pilot version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After about a year, Danny found himself with numerous other credits including Seinfeld and Third Rock from the Sun. He has obtained recurring roles on TV series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Clueless and Gilmore Girls. He has done a number of films, including his starring role in Perpetrators of the Crime opposite Tori Spelling. He has also been seen and heard in numerous TV commercials, such as Dr. Pepper, and radio commercials.
If you're lucky, you've been able to see Danny live on stage - a place that is like a second home to him; a place that he owns upon setting foot in the theatre. His stage performances include No Orchids for Miss Blandish and A Devil Inside.
In 1997, USC awarded Danny with a fellowship. He came back and taught acting during the summer session. He still guest lectures at USC on the ins and outs of getting work as an actor.
His last credits include Life Is Short (2006), Veritas, Prince of Truth (2006) and Sydney White (2007).
