Daniel Leroy Baldwin is the third of six children, his father, Alexander Baldwin and Carol Baldwin.
Baldwin is divorced from Cheryl Baldwin by whom he had a daughter, Kahlea (born 1983). In 1990 he married actress Elizabeth Baldwin and they had two daughters (one of whom is named Alexandra, born 1994), before separating in 1992, and divorcing in 1996.
Since 1994 he has been involved with his Isabella Hofmann, by whom he has a son, Atticus.
From 1993 to 1995, Baldwin was a regular on the cast of the television series Homicide: Life on the Street. Baldwin has also recently starred in the science fiction/mystery series Anonymous Rex. Some of his recent movies include: A Christmas Cop (2006), Final Move (2006), Our Fathers (2005), Shut Up and Shoot!
