Caterina Scorsone was born on October 16th 1981, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is young actress Caterina Scorsone has only just begun to take the world by storm. Over recent years, her talent has been recognized globally.
If you don't know Caterina From her early acting years as a character on the late Ernie Coombs Canadian televison kids show Mr. Dressup, then perhaps you know her from her guest appearences on shows like "Goosebumps" or "Flash Forward". However, most current role playing character Jess Mastriani on Lifetime's drama Missing is mostly likely the show from which you may recognize her.
Like many actors, Caterina got her first taste of acting at home. Her older sister directed home videos in which of course Caterina appeared. Caterina can be credited for 19 different appearences on television and film. 3 of those roles are Hollywood movies with stars like Allison Mack and Kirsten Dunst. 2 of her television appearences were starring or supporting roles.
Let's not forget to mention her Gemini nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series. This nod was for her portrayal of "Michele Parker" on the Canadian series, Power Play at the age of 18! Not only credited for telvision and film roles, however, Caterina has also acted on stage in the plays Pirates of Penzance, La Boheme, A Christmas Carol, and Carmen.
Caterina finished her studies at the University of Toronto. She recently packed her bags and headed off to live in Los Angeles where she hopes to continue her prosperous career in Hollywood.
