Barry Corbin
Leonard Barrie "Barry" Corbin was born on October 16, 1940 in Lamesa, Texas. He is an American character actor with over 100 credits in film and television and several in computer games.
He began his career as a Shakespearean actor back in the 1960s. Television viewers may remember him best for his portrayal of former astronaut Maurice Minnifield on Northern Exposure, for which he received an Emmy nomination. To moviegoers he's best remembered as the General in WarGames, John Travolta's uncle in Urban Cowboy.
He also starred appeared Godless. (2005), No Country for Old Men (2007) and In the Valley of Elah (2007).
