Marie Wilson was born on October 12, 1974 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is an Canadian actress.

Wilson is best known to fans as Dr. Karen Wexler Cates on the ABC soap opera Port Charles.

Since June 16, 2005 Wilson returned back to daytime succeeding the role as Meg Snyder for Jennifer Ashe after a long absence on As the World Turns.

She is married to Michael Wilson since December 31, 1996.
