Kent McCord was born on September 26, 1942 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is an American actor.

Kent McCord, he first appeared on television in 1962 as a guest on The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. McCord made his film debut in the made-for-television movie The Outsider (1967).

In 1980, McCord played the lead character Troy on the short-lived series Galactica 1980.From 1994 through 1995, McCord played the recurring role of Scott Keller on seaQuest DSV.

On July 14, 1962, Kent married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia Lee Doty.
