Sara Paxton

Sara Paxton was born on April 25, 1988 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. She is an Emmy Award-nominated American actress and singer.

With an impressive list of film, television and commercial appearances, this rising young star can be seen weekly on the Discovery Kids' TV show Darcy's Wild Life.

She also recently appeared in MGM’s feature film, Sleepover, and she recently guest-starred on Fox’s Malcolm In The Middle and NBC’s Will & Grace. With an acting career that began at the age of six, Sara Paxton has worked with some of Hollywood’s leading actors including Debbie Reynolds, Jim Carrey, Leah Thompson, Cindy Williams, Sherilynn Fenn and Sherman Helmsley to name a few.

This teen phenomenon has appeared in eleven feature films including Liar Liar, Soldier, Music From Another Room, Haunted Lighthouse, Starship Troopers, among others. Her numerous television credits include: guest-starring roles on the blockbuster teen hit Lizzie McGuire, Summerland, Frasier, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami, and State of Grace; a starring role in the Disney Channel film, Hounded; series regular on Greetings From Tucson for the WB, a recurring role on the cult Fox series Action; and a role on Passions as “Young Sheridan.”

In the past few years, she has completed a few pilots including Nickelodeon’s Amber, Amber with Cindy Williams and Julia Duffy, and for the WB, she was cast as “Paige” in Generation Gap, in which she played the granddaughter of the legendary screen actress, Debbie Reynolds. Most recently, Paxton completed the pilot for the Mr. Ed remake, starring with Sherilynn Fenn and Sherman Helmsley.
