Kevin David Sorbo was born on September 24, 1958 in Mound, Minnesota, USA. He is an American actor.

He became famous when he landed the role of Hercules in several television films which aired in 1994 and then played the role regularly in the fantasy action drama series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys from 1995 to 1999. He also starred in series Xena: The Warrior Princess.

He also played the leading role in the fantasy film Kull the Conqueror (1996). He appeared in the direct-to-video film Walking Tall 2 which is a sequel to the 2004 film Walking Tall.

Kevin has also appeared on several hit television shows such as “Dharma & Greg,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Cybill,” “The Commish,” and “Murder, She Wrote.”

Sorbo married actress Sam Jenkins on January 5, 1998.
