Bruce Altman

Bruce Altman was born on 3 July 1955 in The Bronx, New York. He is an American actor and television actor.

He made his motion picture debut as Harrison Ford's best friend in Mike Nichols' Regarding Henry.

He starred in Glengarry Glen Ross, The Paper, Mr. Jones, Quiz Show, Girl, Interrupted and Changing Lanes.

He also had major roles in several independent projects including the highly acclaimed L.I.E., Vibrations, Get Well Soon and My New Gun, and co-starred opposite Bebe Neuwirth in the 1997 Oscar-winning live action short, Dear Diary.

Altman also maintains an active television career. Among his guest spot credits is the first season two-part episode of NBC's Emmy-winning drama Law & Order, as well as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. His work on HBO includes a major guest-starring role on the season finale of The Sopranos, and a co-starring role opposite Peter Gallagher and Alan Alda in the telefilm White Mile.

His last roles include Matchstick Men (2003), Running Scared (2006) and The Pre Nup (2007).
