Alan Cumming

Alan Cumming was born 27 January 1965 in Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross, UK. He is a Scottish film and stage actor.

In 1992, he had his film debut in the largely unheard of Prague, which was essentially a historical overview of the city. American audiences were first introduced to him in 1994 when he lent his voice to the dark stallion in Black Beauty

He starred in Circle of Friends (1995) and Emma (1996). Another his credits include Eyes Wide Shut (1999), Spy Kids (2001) and X2: X-Men United (2003).

In 1985, he married Hilary Lyon but couple divorced in 1993. Cumming is openly bisexual, an LGBT rights activist, and has promoted gay rights.
