Peter Fonda
Peter Henry Fonda was born on February 23, 1940 in New York, New York. He is an Academy Award-nominated American actor.
He made his stage debut in the same hall his father did, but the career parallels end there, as Peter went on to produce, direct and star in such iconic and offbeat features as Easy Rider (1969), The Hired Hand (1971) and The Idaho Transfer (1973).
During the 1970s he appeared in movies such as Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry and Wanda Nevada. In 1999 he was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as a beekeeper in Ulee's Gold.
He also starred in Wanda Nevada (1979), The Limey (1999), Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000), Ghost Rider (2007) and the 2007 remake of the western 3:10 to Yuma, starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale.
