Denis Leary was born on August 18, 1957 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated American actor, comedian, writer and director.

Leary began appearing in movies, including The Ref (1994), Demolition Man (1993) and Two If By Sea (1996). He voiced a character in the successful animated film Ice Age (1996), and appeared as the lead in the FX fireman hit, Rescue Me.

He also starred in Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006).

Denis Leary has been married to writer Ann Lembeck since 1982.
