Tom Selleck
Thomas William Selleck was born on January 29, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He is a Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning American actor, screenwriter and film producer.
He began his career in 1979, when he was cast in the starring role of CBS's detective series Magnum, PI, in which he played an easy-going private investigator.
In 1987, he appeared in the hugely popular Three Men and a Baby alongside Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg.
He starred in in several films including In and Out (1997) and The Love Letter (1999) and Meet the Robinsons (2007).
Selleck was married to model Jacquelyn Ray from 1970 to 1982. He married his current wife, actress Jilly Joan Mack, in 1987. The family lives in Thousand Oaks, California.
