Ronald Jason Eldard was born on February 20, 1965 on Long Island, New York. He is an American film, television and stage actor.

He is one of the hottest actors working in Hollywood today. From his portrayal of a young Italian groom-to-be in True Love to his kooky role as womanising Dag in Just a Kiss, he has appeared on the stage and screen over 20 times in the last 25 years. Although his last cinematic release, The House and Sand of Fog saw Ron win the Breakthrough Actor award for the Hollywood Women's Press Club Golden Apple Awards, his presence on the world wide web has for a long time been a small scale affair, only recently growing with the creation of sites such as the Unofficial Ron Eldard website.

After a frustrated search for sites dedicated to Ron and his fans two years ago, the women of Yahoo Groups' Ron Eldard fan list decided it was time to create their own. With help from many of the Group's members, the Unofficial Ron Eldard website was created by a British fan as a place for other Ron fans to find cutting edge news, biographical details and hundreds of pictures of the star.
