Timothy Daly was born on March 1, 1956 in New York City, New York. He is an American stage, screen and voice actor, director and producer.

His first leading film role was in the film Diner (1982), directed by Barry Levinson. He also starred in Rite of Passage (1999), Execution of Justice (1999), Urbania (2000), Partners in Crime (2000), Sordid Lives (2000) and Tick Tock (2000).

His last projects include ABC Drama The Nine, Mr. Gibb (2006) and TV Episodes "The Sopranos".

Daly married actress Amy Van Nostrand on September 18, 1982.
